What an amazing day at Lumley Castle, County Durham! The magnificent castle backdrop and stunning grounds made it the perfect place for getting married.
The bride (my lovely daughter!) was dressed in a stunning Farage of Paris wedding gown and chose a soft peach and pink palette with hints of deep orange and gold for her flowers. The bridesmaids wore matching corseted tops and cream, tulle full-length skirts, (also made by my own fair hand!) carried dainty sleeping flower posies and wore pretty, matching flower hair clips. We included a variety of peach and pink miniature silk roses with two tone hues and matched these with spectacular dried grasses and herbs, lepidium, nigella, and added tiny seed pearls and crystals! The result was a spectacular array of colourful, dried antique style blooms that made the day extra special.
